I grew up in Benton, a small rural town in northeastern Pennsylvania. Fresh out of high school, with dreams of having a career in the arts, I jumped headfirst into the Big Apple and surfaced with an arts degree. After graduation, I decided to trek down the coast and give Philly a shot, and wound up working with Philadelphia’s premier photographer. I started assisting him with photo shoots, and from that point forward, I began developing a sincere passion for the art of photography.
After learning from under his wing, I found that gaining my own experience was the best way to increase my knowledge and expertise. I quickly spread my wings and began shooting on my own. Soon after, I was shooting all over the city, meeting new people and making new connections along the way: from doctors, lawyers and CEOs to aspiring actors, models and pageant contestants.
I continued to shoot for 8 years in Philadelphia, working with artists, entrepreneurs, agencies and businesses both large & small. However, throughout those years, I found my hometown tugging at my heart-strings, and so I returned to stay. Through my experience, I've come to cherish what I do whole-heartedly and continue to push myself, never forgetting to learn along the way.
The arts will always be a very important part of my life, and photography is a medium that allows me to continually follow my passions and creativity. In the end, capturing a subject’s personality, character and truest self is my passion and primary goal.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me learning new instruments, enjoying the beautiful NEPA outdoors with my sweet wife, Simone, and collecting good bourbon.
